Stef Drummond
Stef is an actor and writer based in Los Angeles, California but her heart lies in Owen Sound, Ontario. She is best known for playing Bethany Byrd in Mean Girls and has appeared in theatre, film, and tv throughout North America. Most notably on Bosch, Spotlight, Blindspot, and the childhood dream fulfiller, Fuller House. Although she loves acting, her best gig is with Young Storytellers mentoring future screenwriters in LA public schools. She loves Anne of Green Gables with a passion she could hardly articulate. Until now.
Jen MacLennan
Jen MacLennan is an educator and writer based in Collingwood, Ontario. She hails from Owen Sound and credits her hometown for providing her with story-rich experiences and some of her own kindred spirits. Jen loves to teach, read, and research history, all of which inspire stories about people and situations she finds fascinating. Anne of Green Gables was a childhood favourite and inspired imagination and early independence in Jen. Delving into Maud's diaries has given Jen an even deeper respect for Maud’s work and a vivid picture of her life. She's pumped to tell Maud's story.
Nola Augustson as Maud
Nola is an actor and coach based in Toronto. She has worked in theatre, film, and tv throughout her carer. Most recently she has appeared as a recurring character in such projects as (the soon to be released short series) Kingswood, Murdoch Mysteries, Workin’ Moms, and Damnation.
Growing up in Edmonton, Alberta in the 60’s, Anne Shirley was most definitely a kindred spirit. Reading, re-reading, and reading again the books that lead you through Anne’s life.
For Stef and Jen to include her in this adventure is a glorious treat.
